Oh printer how you kill thee..

My printer has never had printing problems before. We moved it into a new place and I just tried printing for the first time since the move. The move consisted of going from one room to another and I doubt there would have been damage during that time. Now it picks up a piece of paper and clamps it where the paper ends up being at an angle stuck. The printer then says that there is no paper and I try to get that piece out and retry. A few times I have been able to hold and guide the piece of paper but it still messes up the document.
I am trying to print off applications to jobs and my paperwork for school. This is pissing me off. A downside is the printer is in an inconvenient place where it is hard to open up the inside and look around. I suppose when the boyfriend gets home I will ask him to move the printer. I would do it myself but with all the wires and junk around it, I would unplug the wrong thing or get myself in a painful physical position trying to maneuver around everything.

I had to quit the job I had been doing for a year and a half due to it was costing me more to be in the union that works with the company than I was being paid. My medical benefits were gone because of the purpose lack of hours my boss had given me. Not to mention there was a woman that was sexually harassing other co-workers and it being in the ‘hate crime’ catagory. This was back just before Thanksgiving. So I am screwed. I am currently going toward a medical certificate that is already being phased out of the American Medical field thanks to the newly enhanced technology of computers that connect state to state and the doctors Continue Reading

Blah. I know I should not be complaining about the heat here in the Pacific North West because we hardly get any nice days like this in the summer but, fuck. The humidity level is 63%, which is lower than normal for this area. I prefer dry heat over humid heat any day. Granted, when it gets into the 100*s-120*s in places it does not matter what the humidity is or is not. That is why I would never live in Arizona or Texas.
I registered for school and paid for the classes. Hopefully I will be reimbursed a little bit at the end of the quarter with a financial grant. I will be taking English 100 and Intro to Business Computing. For being in the generation that learned the new computers, I failed to pay attention during the learning process of Excel, Access and other Microsoft programs that are extremely useful in the business world. Especially since I want to get out of retail and the food industry. If I were able to get a job serving, I would not complain as much because I would at least be able to receive tips with my wage.
I talked with the Director Continue Reading
